Bishnu Kumar Nepal was a nine-year old Nepalese boy whose tragic drowning on June 4, 2010 in Lake Nesmith near his home on Carnegie Avenue brought sorrow and shock to the members of the community.  Click HERE for story.

The smiling face of Robert Corall to the right was saddened the day Bishnu Kumar Nepal was pulled from Lake Nesmith in June of 2010.  Robert was distressed by the fact that it took so long for the emergency call to get to the Akron Fire Department.  Lieutenants Robert Corall and Larry Moore handled the shore operations and witness interviews while Robert Oldaker and Mike Flesher were the rescue scuba divers that entered the water and searched for the boy.  Mike Flesher found Bishnu.  Robert Corall stopped to say hello at the Woven In Exile booth at the North Hill Better Blocks fesitval in May of 2015. 8189c
